How do we make our fresh Almond Drinks?
Our Almond Drinks are produced with love in our production kitchen in Switzerland. Almonds are mixed into a smooth paste and then blended with water, maple syrup and Himalayan salt for a homogeneous drink. Careful stirring ensures the creamy consistency and the fine taste of this plant-based milk alternative. After that we add the characteristic spices to the Almond Drinks, which make them so irresistible. Our drinks are never heated, that’s the only way all valuable nutrients stay in the bottle. They are a delicious treat when enjoyed on their own, or perfect for your porridge and coffee.
The secret to our production: Freshly pressed AND a long shelf life?
Unlike traditional pasteurization, which uses heat and can affect taste and destroy vitamins, we use the innovative High-Pressure Processing (HPP) method to slightly extend the shelf life of our almond drinks. This involves placing the filled bottles in a water bath and subjecting them to simultaneous high pressure from all sides. With this gentle method, the microorganisms can be rendered harmless — but the incredibly delicious, fresh taste and nutrients are retained!
